*Enterprize – Jib boom

I wanted to do a painting to primarily show the jib boom of the Tall Ship Enterprize with its complexity of the rigging and lines needed to support the spars and control the sails, whilst also including the artistic challenge of the sea and shoreline features. Enterprize is moving towards a safe anchorage from the increasing offshore winds. It was based on my own experience sailing on many voyages on this replica of the original vessel.
